Test changes may still be allowed in. I'm not exactly sure of the procedure at this stage, some of
us have been insisting that it's only goodness to fix testcases, almost at any time.
So you might try.

But to be quite honest, once a release gets into this kind of lockdown phase, I try and avoid all
the red-tape and avoid making any changes, just move on to the next release, which in this case
is difficult without jdk8 repos...  which reminds me... I need to get back to that...
