I've been planning to look into this for months. At the moment I'm
trying to make icedtea6 work on armv7/oneiric (Xerces knows about
this), so it will still be a while.

The big question is what to do about Java 7 anyway, as there will be
no invokedynamic support in CACAO in the foreseeable future. Not that
I would object to someone working on this, but I doubt that someone
with enough motivation will show up. I myself will very likely not
have enough time for this for a long time.
