[icedtea-web] RFC: PR788: Elluminate Live! is not working

Hi,

The attached patch fixes PR788. The exception is caused in checkForMain, 
which is only present in HEAD.

In a way, the patch is a duplicate of
http://icedtea.classpath.org/hg/icedtea-web/rev/df3cf32781d3

Okay to add to HEAD?
