Do you have a solution in mind?

The reason this and other conditional patches (nss, SystemTap, PulseAudio)
weren't integrated into the forest is that they depend on external
dependencies.  To move them up to the forest isn't just a matter of applying
the patch but also of adapting it to preserve the conditionality.

In the case of Rhino & PulseAudio, it also depends on code maintained in
IcedTea that would need to then be built & developed in the forest, and this
creates additional divergence from upstream.
