hi! IcedTea6 1.10.8 do not have plugin by default. If you are using default
plugin/javaws from IcedTea6 1.10.8 you are using really outdated thing.
Replacement for plugin and javaws originally provided by pure icedtea is now
project (package if you want) IcedTea-web. This fix was done in icedtea-web
head. It is probably worthy to be backported to 1.2 too. (1.2 is in f16,17 and
el6)
Fact is that this issue IS fixed. Please can you confirm that selected url is
working for you on icedtea-web head?
