It didn't help much for me. :( I tried it last week too, still being shown a lot of safe-mode prompts. I've been using 
--with-firefox=no when testing my own reproducers so it is not that big a deal. I only run the entire engine before posting a review 
now so I can live with hitting okay for now. =)
