[RFC][icedtea-web-1.2] Backport fix for PR898: signed applications with big jnlp-file doesn't start

Hi,

I'd like to backport the fix for PR898 to 1.2. The reasons for the patch can be found in the original RFC thread[1], the same bug is in 
the release branch.

$ /path/to/icedtea-web-1.2/bin/javaws http://www.sweethome3d.com/SweetHome3D.jnlp

It will freeze at the splash screen.

The hg export is attached, only changes are in location for NEWS and ChangeLog (and dates in ChangeLog).

Is this okay to push to 1.2?
