As the 'official' maintainer of 1.11 (even though others have been
doing a better job than me) I feel that this should have been my
responsibility. So thanks for taking care of it (less work for me,
yay!). That said, if you don't have enough time or find it
not-sufficiently-interesting or run into any other issues please let
me know and I will be happy to do the release.

All of these make sense to me. Actual patches to review would have
been nicer, though ;)
