            Bug ID: 1516
Summary: Multiple AWT event queues in 1.12.6 security update
broke Java applications (NetBeans, VisualVM, JOSM)
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: IcedTea
           Version: 6-1.12.6
          Hardware: x86
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P3
         Component: IcedTea
          Assignee: gnu.andrew at redhat.com
          Reporter: vincent.privat at gmail.com
                CC: unassigned at icedtea.classpath.org

The latest security update (1.12.6) of IcedTea 6 appears to have broken several
Java applications.

This is an upstream file bug report of the one reported at Ubuntu launchpad:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/+bug/1204906

And JOSM trac:
http://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/8921

As stated in original bug report:

Manifests as UI issues, NPE's and lockups (eg. find usages dialog hangs
NetBeans). One stack trace shows EventQueue.isDispatchThread() returning false
from within the dispatch thread.
