Your plugin completely floors the machine.
When it prints the error report on stderr,
it should at least at the same time release its grips on the browser,
otherwise the user is stuck helpless...
To reproduce,
# set http://www.cwb.gov.tw/V7/observe/webcam/
# su - nobody -c 'HOME=/tmp firefox '$@ &
