Builds of 2.4.2pre+r41272f3d7393 preconfigured sources work on windows 
(i586, amd64) and linux (i586, amd64), but fail on macosx due to 
http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=8021771
Was broken by this commit -

Trying to rebuild with a workaround patch attached to bug right now.
