Summary: javaws launcher cannot handle ampersand in
Client.Security.sessionCookieNames
Product: IcedTea-Web
Version: 1.4
Hardware: x86_64
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: NetX (javaws)
Assignee: omajid at redhat.com
Reporter: eanderson at usdataworks.com

javaws.log
My company recently introduced a session cookie containing two values connected
by an ampersand. When loading our application interface, IcedTea-web reports
"<argumenetx: Read Error: Could not read or parse the JNLP file. (Invalid XML
document syntax. (XML Parse Exception during parsing of a jnlp element at line
123: Unknown or invalid entity: &</argument>"
The Oracle-provided javaws does not have any problem with the JNLP file and
opens our application without complaint.
