Agreed. Solving the certificate problem didn't affect the icedtea bug.

Now discovered through running several tests that the problem does not exist on
Linux Mint 16 running icedtea-7 versions 1.4.3Ubuntu2 or 1.4.3Ubuntu2.1. But it
is present on all update states of Linux Mint 17 starting from LiveCD.
