IcedTea 1.x does not checksum supplied tarballs as it does in 2.x and 3.x. This
can lead to build issues later or releases being shipped where the required
tarball does not match the checksum.

We should add options to all three versions to allow the user to opt out of
checksumming, but it should be on by default to avoid simple mistakes.
