this is the report produced again and again (I've 6 of these stored up now)

all tests are set to fail except one and I don't yet have an assert in it.  It
most surely has errors which I was hoping to start fixing but I can never get
to the detailed error screen because java crashes every time I run the file and
it consistently produces the error in the attached file.

Env = Kepler on Ubuntu 13.10 the jvm is 7.5.1
