[Bug 1894] JRE running Tomcat crashes with SIGSEGV

Unfortunately, the crash cannot be reproduced; however, since we are running a
cluster of several machines, chances are high that it will eventually happen
again.
We will add the JVM options following your first suggestion and will wait a
while. I will report back here with the results.
