[Bug 1894] JRE running Tomcat crashes with SIGSEGV

We have updated the JRE from the distribution to version 1.7.0_55:
java version "1.7.0_55"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.4.8) (suse-24.17.1-x86_64)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.55-b03, mixed mode)

Unfortunately, the problem is still present. Our customers are losing
confidence in our Java based solution, so it is more than disappointing that
this bug is still unresolved.

If we can do anything to help you finding the cause of this bug, please tell
me.
