Bug ID: 2279
Summary: Add diagnostic command for showing configuration data
Product: Thermostat
Version: hg
Hardware: x86_64
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P5
Component: Thermostat
Assignee: unassigned at icedtea.classpath.org
Reporter: sgehwolf at redhat.com
CC: thermostat at icedtea.classpath.org
Bug 1448 describes a confusing point where things like the following attempt to
connect to a "default" connection URL.
$ thermostat list-vms
It would be good to have a command which shows basic configuration properties
such as default connection URL, USER_THERMOSTAT_HOME, THERMOSTAT_HOME, etc.
USER_THERMOSTAT_HOME and THERMOSTAT_HOME we refer to extensively in our user
guides, but users have know way of self-discovering those values for their
thermostat installation (be it upstream or downstream).
