We've had issues where people build with this enabled and end up with broken
graphical elements, so we tend to err on the side of caution.

With bug 2935, we will be detecting that the INFINALITY patches are present. If
upstream versions of FreeType & fontconfig which support it also have similar
ways at detecting that, we could use those too.
