Don't get me wrong, it's nice that you're so eager. It's just getting far enough
to release the tarball took long enough... :P

Sounds more complicated than it's worth, to be honest. The blog version is a
good chance to proof-read it and catch any mistakes, while the e-mail goes out
as soon as I upload the tarball.
