            Bug ID: 3303
Summary: [IcedTea8] Allow Kerberos to be detected by old libs &
headers method if pkg-config check fails
           Product: IcedTea
           Version: 8-hg
          Hardware: all
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P5
         Component: IcedTea
          Assignee: gnu.andrew at redhat.com
          Reporter: gnu.andrew at redhat.com
                CC: unassigned at icedtea.classpath.org

In IcedTea 2.x, we detected Kerberos using a check for the exact library and
header required. In IcedTea 3.x, we used pkg-config. On some older systems, a
pkg-config solution is not available for Kerberos installations, so we should
bring back the old 2.x method as a fallback.
