We backported this change to turn on -Wreturn-type in OpenJDK 7 after bugs were
found in the AArch64 port with functions that claimed to return a value
returning nothing.

We should bring it into IcedTea 3.x / OpenJDK 8 as well and fix any problems it
finds on architectures not tested by Oracle.
