Bug ID: 3585
Summary: Fatal: Read Error: Could not read or parse the JNLP
lile.
Product: IcedTea
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P5
Component: IcedTea
Assignee: gnu.andrew at redhat.com
Reporter: xr3y6rs at shaw.ca
CC: unassigned at icedtea.classpath.org
This is my first bug report. I hope I provide essential information, but will
do my best.

goes on forever then ends with (file name too long)
Application specific JNLP is downloaded daily for an online trading platform.
The string after "appinfo=" also changes daily, and appears to be one half of a
key pair.
Was functional until recently (May 6th, 2018).
Speculate they strengthened the key resulting in "file name too long".
Renders linux machines useless for this application, which is their primary
purpose. I get the same error on a 64 bit machine running Mint.
Hoping this can be remedied. Any further information needed, I'll do my best
to supply it.
