Web Start Support with OpenJDK8

Where did you read this? Icedtea web is an open-source community project to replace web start but I have never heard that Oracle is going to put web start into the openJDK ?? We are moving to icedtea and have added Windows features to it.

Any additional information on if/when this will be available? I couldn't find a release schedule on the official website.
