icedteaweb/jnlp can't create a new file locally

Hi,

I believe you have provided input into the workings of iceteawebs - createdRestrictedFile method and looked into the permissions side of things.

I have recently moved our code from using JavaWebStart to OpenWebStart, I am using the latest version of the openwebstart.jar to support my existing code
However when I attempt to save some new tailoring via the FileSaveService.saveFileDialogue and provide the name of a file that doesn't exist then I can see from the openwebstart console I get an IOException saying



"Can't rename ...test.temp to ...test" from within the createRestrictedFile file method in the RestrictedFileUtils class.



However if I create an empty file and attempt to save the tailoring it can read and write to the existing file.



I believe my problem is something to do with permissions or security but I'm not sure what to change/google to remedy this problem or to find the cause of it.

Would you be able to provide some guidance/pointer?



I have attached the error I can see in the ows console.
