okra not found

Just now after cloning a repo and trying to run "mx unittest hsail" the following started appearing:

   java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.amd.okra.OkraContext

Before it's been working without me noticing it was even there. In fact, all I know is these files are there:

./lib/okra-1.8-with-sim.jar
./lib/okra-1.8.jar


OK, I give up: what can it be?
