Is graal VM going to be part of a future JDK release?

Section 4.2 of this paper http://lampwww.epfl.ch/~hmiller/scala2013/resources/pdfs/paper9.pdf <http://lampwww.epfl.ch/~hmiller/scala2013/resources/pdfs/paper9.pdf> gives an overview of where Graal’s optimisations differ from C2. We call flow-sensitive EA ‘partial' EA.

However that’s using Graal as a normal Java VM. Truffle uses Graal directly in a way that it is not currently possible to use C2, so it’s a different question really. The benefits that we get from Graal, via the Truffle API, include very extensive specialisation of operators and core library methods, aggressive inlining, both at the runtime and guest language level, explicit loop unrolling, explicit code invalidation, and more.
