That's definitely weird.  It looks like the assignment of hello=world is 
also causing the variable a to disappear from the frame.  I also see 
this in another github PR 
https://travis-ci.org/graalvm/graal-core/jobs/197549612, so I don't 
think it's you.  The travis gate doesn't get run very often so it's 
probably something that's only showing up on the travis machines.  I'll 
see if I can reproduce it.
