Are you talking about changing the backport relationship of a backport record in JBS for which a fix has already been pushed, but then subsequently backed out? That seems like the wrong thing to do, given that there is in fact a commit in the update release repo with the main bug ID.
I might be missing something, but would it be sufficient to indicate fix-failed in the backport record (for the release where it was later backed out), and then file a REDO bug?
