Sorry for missing this before.
This are clear instructions how to handle this issue which is very helpful.
Personally, I would have rated proper backport information in the original bug more important than not repeating bug IDs because that is what people beyond OpenJDK developers will find first.  But I don't think that I could have found a majority for this.  So now it's good as it is. Thanks for adding this section.
