This is not so much a comment about the actual content, as the form. I think it would be better if you could provide the illustration as mermaid code in the markdown, than a static png image. That makes it much harder to update in the future, if needed. It seems like the diagram would be possible to express in mermaid. You can experiment at https://mermaid.live/.

(The point is that mermaid code can be inlined into the markdown files, and be simply edited in the future.)
