Message-ID: Hi, Has there been a sub-project repo created for the BeOS port of OpenJDK? Also, what is the best environment to work on the port in? Is Haiku preferred over BeOS R5? Can the JDK be cross-compiled like Haiku is? Thanks Michael -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I don't see one, so the answer to that is no. I assume Andrew's plan is to have us populate one once his boostrapping work is ready to go, but I've cc:ed him to be sure. cheers, dalibor topic -- ******************************************************************* Dalibor Topic Tel: (+49 40) 23 646 738 Java F/OSS Ambassador AIM: robiladonaim Sun Microsystems GmbH Mobile: (+49 177) 2664 192 Nagelsweg 55 http://openjdk.java.net D-20097 Hamburg mailto:Dalibor.Topic at sun.com Sitz der Gesellschaft: Sonnenallee 1, D-85551 Kirchheim-Heimstetten Amtsgericht M?nchen: HRB 161028 Gesch?ftsf?hrer: Thomas Schr?der, Wolfgang Engels, Dr. Roland B?mer Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates: Martin H?ring From andrewbachmann at gmail.com Mon Dec 8 16:16:43 2008 From: andrewbachmann at gmail.com (Andrew Bachmann) Date: Mon, 8 Dec 2008 16:16:43 -0800 Subject: Sub-project repo - does it exist? Now would certainly be a good time to have the repository set up since we have other interested parties. Also, I am ready to share the C++ MakeDeps version, including the windows portion now. (untested) Right - I recall the conversation now. I'll try to get in touch with Mark at Devoxx and see how that's coming along. I had purchased R3 back in the day, but unfortunately do not have any hardware that it will work on. Is it possible to obtain R5 (purchase/download) that will work on newer hardware? I know that Haiku will work via VMWare, but I am interested in using BeOS R5 for the development on real hardware. Michael -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
