I'm also planning to use Haiku as my principal OS at home. However, although I have a strong background in 80x86 assembly, C and C++, my next personal projects will be in Java. It would be a shame if they can't run on the OS I'll be using. I was wondering what the current status of this port of OpenJDK to Haiku was, and how I could participate in bringing it forward. So I would be glad for any pointers to useful resources, and information about the process of contributing, where I should introduce myself, how such a request is usually processed, etc. Thanks. -Amenel.
