My package command didn't seem to have an update function (at least not
according to the documentation). I managed to get it to work with an
add. I also created the right directory path, put the cacerts in there
and then added it with:
package add -f <openjdk-hpkg-path> lib/x86/openjdk/jre/lib/security/
cacerts

Perhaps I did something wrong and it can be done as you described, but
at least I got it working with your help. Thank you very much!

Thanks. I created an issue for the crash. Let me know if you need more
information.

Kind regards,

Mark
