Message-ID: Hi All, Does anyone here think this list should/shouldn't be archived? I mean that in a nice way, as I don't want to pursue archiving a list if people are still using it, or plan to. More details on this list-archiving push here: https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8220662 List owners were contacted 3 weeks ago, and this is a follow-up for lists whose owners haven't replied yet. I don't understand why you are so keen to shut down other people's lists. Maybe you have good intentions but it feels misplaced to me. I think the list owners should feel free decide if or when they want to do this without any pressure and it seems very wrong that you would feel entitled to go ask openjdk ops to shut down someone else's list. -phil. Where the lists, owners, leads, and members, are all silent for over a month, I expect I won't include them in the archive proposal, TBH. Better to stick with the ones where we already have a clear "yes, archive this list" from the list owners. It does kinda illustrate my point though, when I get total silence from all list-affiliates (owners, leads, & members) after a full month. As for "entitled", I feel I've missed your point. I do feel I can ask people to do things if I think it'll help the community, yes. I hope this addresses your concerns.
