Subject: your hotspot tools
Tom,
Was reading through your articles on the Sun Wiki.
In light of OpenJDK 7 Build 135 / HS 21, are there any updates to your posted LogCompilation analyzer or articles ?
We need to get a rather detailed analysis going for our application server process, to figure out why / why not certain methods are not compiled, and why uncommon traps are hit
We also know what methods eventually get compiled when the standard usage thresholds are hit
Question – Is there a way to “force” compilation of specific methods at VM initialization time? This would be in the context of a “product” build.
Thank you,
Chuck Maslowski
