There are counter-examples to deprecating flags in a update release,
though, e.g.
  { "Tier1Inline",         JDK_Version::jdk_update(7,40),
JDK_Version::jdk(8) },
I just though it'd be doable for JDK_Version::jdk_update(8, 20) as well...
