Thanks for reporting this, Kirill. I filed [JDK-8305995](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8305995) for tracking. It would be great if you could add your benchmark (to `test/micro/org/openjdk/bench/`). I'll have a look at your proposed fix next week.
