This pull request contains a backport of commit [2fd775f6](https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/commit/2fd775f69c8eb4d0bd1163e8b5d2615db105352b) from the [openjdk/jdk](https://git.openjdk.org/jdk) repository.

The commit being backported was authored by Jorn Vernee on 16 Jan 2024 and was reviewed by Alan Bateman and Vladimir Kozlov.
