Why? A commit into mainline should be accompanied by its tests. That's a base, (and IMO obvious) requirement.

Perhaps I should ask @PaulSandoz for his opinion on this issue. I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts on it.

I can think of no reason not to grab all of them, but that must happen first.
