Hi!

I have to admit I don't know Syllable :-/  Anyways, is there a port of
any VM available on Syllable?  Maybe GCJ or Kaffe as you say?  Then it
should be no problem to bootstrap OpenJDK.

A CACAO port should be that hard, which you could use to bootstrap
OpenJDK or use CACAO as VM for OpenJDK (instead of HotSpot).
