Interesting tidbit from the dtrace world

It looks like the newest versions of Solaris has tied dtrace into the 
CPU performance counters.  With the existing dtrace probes we have in 
hotspot (and the user-level ones in JDK7), this might be able to 
generate some interesting performance data:
