As this is an OpenJDK mailing list, it seems clear (at least to me)
that the intention was to make this available in OpenJDK, not a
proprietary Sun build.  I believe a hs14 forest has been proposed and
should be making an appearance on hg.openjdk.java.net at some point...

 The backport Omair mentions has already been completed and the patch
applied locally in IcedTea.  The intention behind this mail was to
make sure the patch also gets applied upstream.
