Hello
I am a complete newbie and very new to OpenJDk. I am trying to do a

project of simulating a cache in OpenJDk in Ubuntu. I have installed

OpenJDk in Ubunt. It is building. I have built the HotSpot projectin

NetBeans.
I have a very silly problem and I did not ask it in this forum

for long probably becaue its very lame. But here's my question:-
1. Is there a way to find out the addresses generated when a new

integer is declared or an array is declared? Is there a way of printing

addresses generated by the JVM to a local file?

2. How can I check that modifications to my local Hotspot project are

actually working. What are some of the basic test cases?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks and regards.
Kanik
