I have prepared a changeset against hotspot-rt with your patch and have
tested it against solaris/sparc dtrace. It's built against bsd also.
It seems fine. I will send out a request for review with you as
contributor shortly.
The only process issue I think wasn't correct is that I don't think you
are supposed to change the copyright header to include RedHat.
