You are correct. I haven't merged my changes with Christian's NMT stuff yet.
I was actually planning on waiting for his changes and your changes to
go in before merging them and pushing this.
At this stage I was interested in getting people's opinions on the
suggested solution.
Sorry for not being clear about this earlier.
