RFC: deprecating SPARC V8 support?

Hi,

I ran the below query to members of the Adopt-a-JSR, Adopt OpenJDK and the
LJC mailing lists and no one came back with any feedback with regards to
being impacted by the decision to deprecate SPACE V8 support.

I hope this helps along with the other feedback you have received from your
sources.

Hello Community!

We are playing with the idea to deprecate SPARC V8 support in HotSpot and I
would like to get some input from the OpenJDK community (especially from
the usual suspects: SAP, RedHat, Debian, ...).

Is anyone out there still using SPARC V8 hardware or is supporting it?
