[8u20] Request for approval: 8036767: PPC64: Support for little endian execution model

Please approve backport of ppc64 changes to support little endian.
Changes will be pushed through Hotspot repository jdk8u/hs-dev because 
they have Hotspot changes.

Changes applied cleanly (hotspot and top) but I have to regenerate 
generated-configure.sh (open and closed parts).
