[8u20] RFR(S): 8040085: dtrace/jsdt tests crash on solaris. found an unadvertised bad scavengable oop in the code cache

Hi,

I would like to request a 8u20 backport of JDK-8040085.

The changes were pushed to 9 on 2014-04-28 and nightly testing showed no 
problems.
The changes applied to 8u20 without conflicts.
