Hotspot build broken on Mac 10.8.5 Xcode 4.6.3

I think that somehow hs-rt just didn't get merged in to dev yet, and that the
failure is also dependent on flag settings that are not always active (because
it didn't get caught by my own testing on the same OS+compiler, nor did JPRT
catch it).

So it's not a bad merge, just a missing merge that has not happened yet.
